Katie and Nick’s full-day elopement in Iceland was a true adventure from sunrise to sunset, capturing the raw, untamed beauty of the South Coast in October. We started the day at dawn, meeting at a hidden waterfall near Vík, far from the crowds, where the first light of day painted the cliffs in golden tones. From there, we wandered through dramatic landscapes — the otherworldly Yoda Cave, the icy blues of Svínafellsjökull glacier, and the peaceful stillness of Fjallsárlón lagoon.

The weather gifted us calm skies and barely a breeze, making it surprisingly comfortable to shoot next to glaciers. Visibility was crystal clear, and the crisp air added an edge of magic to every moment.

But the highlight of the day? Stokksnes beach. As we arrived, Vestrahorn mountain stood boldly in the distance, unobscured by clouds. The high tide gave us perfect reflections in the wet black sand — a surreal and unforgettable ending to their elopement story.
